In this portion of my planning, I finalized the layout and content to follow the blog conventions so that it's visually appealing, organized, and easy to navigate through.
Cover / Header
My blog title will be displayed clearly at the top, "Buzzed", there will be a large header and cover image related to sports and athletics. My blog's theme will be in a short tagline, with clean, simple designs to make a strong first impression.
Homepage Layout
I will have recent posts displayed, a navigation page for the table of contents, and a sidebar for categories. My layout will be balanced with text and images while maintaining white space.
Articles / Posts
Each of my blog posts will have a similar pattern. For example, there will be a bold title, a captivating introduction, and well-organized body sections. Additionally, there will be images or videos to complement my content to make my blog more visually appealing.
Visual Design
The blog will have a color scheme that is consistent with the sports theme. The colors will be bold yet consistent. The text will be easy to read with clean fonts. There will be variations in the font to differentiate between headings and text.
Navigation & Usability
The blog will be easy to use with a user-friendly navigation menu. Visitors will be able to locate my blog posts under different categories. Furthermore, the blog will be accessible from both desktop and mobile devices.
Overall Goal
The overall aim of my blog is to create a visually appealing blog that is easy to use and captivating for my readers, yet consistent with the blog design that is common in other successful blogs in the media field.
